The Department of English in S.K.B.R College for P.G Courses was established in the year 2009 under the head ship of Sri. T.S. Rajesh and three faculty members. The department has grown from strength to strength and is catering to the needs of the students very efficiently. The results of the students in the university examination are encouraging and up to the expectation. The students who completed their P.G. Degree in this college have got placements in various degree and engineering colleges.  Fifteen students from M.A Final year got selected in the campus – recruitment drive by the Bhashyam Education Institutions for teaching position in 2013. The success of the students may be attributed to their continuous exposure to various academic programmers like seminars, group discussions and so on under the able guidance of the faculty members who are known for their dedication. The commitment of the present team with Sri V.S.Srinivas HOD,  Mrs M. Swarna Lecturer, Miss G. Durga Bhavani Lecturer and Sri T.S.Rajesh as guest faculty is exemplary.
